Develop highly specialized engineers capable of designing urban environments comprehensively and creatively.
This program aims to develop highly specialized engineers with advanced knowledge and skills in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of urban and transportation infrastructure, as well as urban environmental conservation. Based on natural and social sciences, graduates will be able to identify and lead solutions to urban and social infrastructure issues, designing urban environments comprehensively and creatively. The Civil and Environmental Engineering program consists of three tracks: "Planning", "Environmental Engineering", and "Structural and Material Engineering." "Planning" focuses on land use, public infrastructure, and transportation, covering actual conditions, future planning techniques, and urban and regional design. "Environmental Engineering" deals with air and water environments at various scales, addressing measurement, prediction, and improvement. "Structural and Material Engineering" explores durable, disaster-resistant, and cost-effective infrastructure, including construction, maintenance, and ground engineering.
