At the Graduate School of Chiba Institute of Technology, we have established an "Agreement on Educational and Research Cooperation" with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, and the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). Through this partnership, we operate a collaborative graduate school system.
Under this system, Chiba Institute of Technology appoints distinguished experts from national, public, and private research institutions as visiting professors. This allows students to receive research guidance from these experts and access state-of-the-art facilities at the partner institutions.
Additionally, Chiba Institute of Technology faculty members serve as co-supervisors, supporting students with academic progress, credit acquisition, and career guidance. As a result, students are not required to pay tuition fees to the partner research institutes.
