The Honorary Degree of Doctor from Chiba Institute of Technology

Chiba Institute of Technology established a system in February 2024 to confer the title of the Honorary Degree of Doctor.

This distinction is awarded to individuals whose achievements in academic culture or contributions to society are deemed particularly outstanding and who are expected to contribute to the university’s education and research in the future, as well as to those whose past contributions to the university’s education and research are recognized as remarkable.
