Doctoral Program in Information and Computer Science

Actively share achievements in a wide range of fields to external research institutions.

This program offers education and research in diverse technologies and applied fields, building upon the foundations covered by the Information Engineering and Information Networks programs. The scope of study is wide-ranging and includes not only fundamental theories and principles of computer architecture, software, and computer networks but also practical solutions to address real-world challenges, such as acoustic information processing, image processing, parallel processing, digital communications, databases, artificial intelligence, robotics, distributed processing, mobile communication, advanced traffic information systems, media information processing, speech and language processing, and educational support systems. In the Master's program, we aim to cultivate highly skilled engineers in each field, and in the Doctoral program, we aim to cultivate students capable of pioneering new technologies and advancing academic knowledge. Additionally, a unique feature of the program is its participation in collaborative research on advanced technologies with other universities, research institutes, companies, and international organizations, with a focus on disseminating research outcomes.
